Staub - Share the good taste

Ingredients:
German chocolate cake mix
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 bag caramels
¾ cup melted butter
chocolate chips
Method:
Heat caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk until melted; set aside.
Combine cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, and butter.
Put half of this mixture in 9 x 13 pan.
Bake for 6 minutes at 350º.
Sprinkle chocolate chips on and spread caramel over that.
Put rest of dough on top, drop by spoonfuls.
Bake for 15-18 minutes.
